I am on subscription and I still get contact details so I can email enquirers as well as replying through the dashboard. I reply using option 3 and use my standard text as I did previously giving my fee with a note that booking through OD their fee will be £x, for which they get OD's "book with...

Now we're thinking of having fixed euro rates alongside our sterling rates to make it easy for the increasing number of euro-zone guests to see clear and transparent prices. I do see some websites with fixed Euro and Sterling rates rather than an auto-converter so it does work for some. Best wishes...

Comparing yourself to the likes of an international business like Ryanair is really a step too far. You are just one person with just one or two properties trying to make some money. You are not a multi National business. So you have to price in one currency. If it is pounds then that market is lim...

2017 Prices after the Pound crash

Sorry I should have said making our prices much cheaper to Non UK Residents after Brexit, as we are all Europeans. Best ending for a website name

I have seen people make mistakes on their own hotmail email addresses ie co.uk or com so the chances of people remembering anything other than com or co.uk is doubtful. I would use co.uk if your market is the uk or com if not. I would use your villa name or business name if you trade as a Ltd compan...

2017 Prices after the pound crash

Ideally I would like to keep our prices in pounds as pricing in Euros during the last year would have vastly increased our prices to UK guests. However ideally I would like to have separate Euro prices for ...

How far ahead for bookings

We have just completed our first year so whilst lots of guests left reviews saying they would be back, so far we haven't had any repeat bookings. Maybe guests will be back after trying elsewhere first? It is all a learning experience. I a thinking about sending a mailshot out to previous guests as t...
