Spanish embassy in Dublin. Now waiting for cert to be emailed to me next week and hopefully that will be it. But then I have to do it all over again with hubby to get his.

Oh they dont make it easy. Our embassy only gives one appointment a day to get a digital cert and it takes about 10 days to get that appt. And all I want to do is be a good citizen and pay my taxes!

Thank you casscat. I am currently trying to do it through the embassy here. An agent can only do so much as I will still have to go in person to prove my identity.

Thanks roxytoo I think I will have to phone the local Guardia Civil and ask them as there can be local laws in addition to national laws. I hope I wont have to do it as its a lot of work.

Thank you for the information. I am aware of the need to have a tourist licence and have that organised. I just couldnt find any information regarding the need to register the guests details each week. I will have to talk to the local police when I am out there next month and ask my local rep to col...

Registering guests with the police in Valencian community

Hi I am new to renting out my house in Spain and would like to know if it is a legal requirement to register every guests passport details with the local police. My house is in the Valencian community and as I dont live there it would be very difficult to do this each week.
