Hi roxytoo. Do you buy the air conditioning units with the meters already installed or is it something you have to buy separately.

Hi roxytoo yes a meter would solve the problem but l as far as I am aware that is against the law. Perhaps something has changed. Do you have a rental licence and do they now allow you to do that.

Air Conditioning

We have to have air conditioning installed for our rental licence. We are quite concerned that some guests might leave the a.c. on 24 hours as it will be included in the rental price. Does anyone know how much this would cost for three units.

Trip Advisor

What are your opinions and experiences with Trip Advisor. Are they any good. How do they treat owners. I have just been looking and they say they charge 3% per booking.

Licence of first occupation

If you don´t have a licence of first occupation what do you do when applying for a holiday rental licence. The property is in an urbanised area has mains water etc. It is not a new property and is around thirty years old.

Air conditioning units

Hi is it possible to get units that come with some sort of motion detector or ones that turn themselves off after a certain amount of time. As we have to have them fitted to obtain a rental licence just worried that guests might leave them on 24/7

Hi thanks for all the helpful replies. I think we already knew that we would go with a proper pool just wanted others thoughts on the plastic type. We are hoping to get some prices soon as it all comes down to budget and we have a lot to do. :D

Hi Ele, your property is beautiful ours is a small reform no comparison really. We are wanting to make it a good standard but it all depends on how the budget goes.
