Sales figures do not equal usage.

Overall I would find them intrusive and no different to sticking a surveillance camera in the house (minus the video feed) maybe I'm old but I don't see the must have appeal.

What is the killer feature?

Whereas a Bluetooth speaker system is a positive

I used the advice from here https://www.myroomservice.uk/index/technical_guide_making_your_airbnb_holiday_rental_ready_for_the_remote_worker Installed a TP-Link wireless outdoor access point up high in the loft of the barn and it works really well to get a decent signal outside easily covering the f...

Hi Can I ask without being flamed! You mention she complained about the wifi and the air con, yet her review/complaint doesn't make any mention of that. Maybe she reflected on that and realised she was being a little crazy. The complaint is around a shower head being rusty and the furniture old and ...

The minimum we leave is tea/coffee/sugar/milk and being in Wales, Welsh cakes :) If we know its a special occasion a bottle of sparkling wine and a card. Then foil, washing up liquid, a sponge and a scourer. Bleach by the toilet, hand wash and toilet roll. We consider those the basics so our guests ...

a) Without knowing anything about your website I would say just maps, guessing that you just have a map showing where your property is located. You can always add the other options later if you need them. b) Yep any name, it doesn't matter c) Its a lot, free up to 25,000 map loads per day :) Best Re...

I did this a few weeks ago. You can no longer use google maps without having a real API key, in the past you could use a dummy key. So you need to register your site and create an API key as your developer suggests, during the process it will ask for your credit card and then charge 1p against it to...

Feels like an overreach. The police can trace you from your car registration or mobile phone number so I don't see why you would need the data and with recent legislation like GDPR you should aim at holding minimal personal data. Personally it would make me uncomfortable being asked for it and I hav...

Just in terms of the window key complaint. I have cup hooks screwed into the edge of the window frame with a key on and have at least one in each room.

Makes things simple and are easy to remove and touch over the hole with a bit of glue if needed in the future

The lines are provided and supplied still by BT but other suppliers use their lines to provide their own services. Being in a rural area makes little difference other than the cost is higher for both BT and the other suppliers. The same goes with electric/gas/water. We use Plusnet and XLN. Plusnet ...

Re: Uk Business bank account

I notice that Starling offer a business account with no charges. This is really interesting. I'm with Barclays just because they were the nearest but after the first 12mths the charges are around £100 a year plus a credit card that was free for 12mths but now something like £20 a year just for havi...

As a protection method you might want to use page change detection software. There are various free sites that will take a snapshot of your page and then email you any detected changes so you can keep an eye on things. You will get some "noise" from it but as peace of mind its invaluable C...
