Thanks for all of the advice and suggestions. I spent hours researching online and eventually went for Out of Eden commercial laundry range for my first set. I then spent hours looking in stores at the quality for subsequent sets, but the comparable quality towels were actually just as if not more e...

Thanks Zebedee,
I am going for two bath sheets, four bath towels and six hand towels, so just enough for six at a time. I'm looking into other brands such as mitre and richard ashworth but they are all of a similar price so I must be out of touch.
Am now going to look at Dunelm and poly mixes!

Hi, Am just starting out and am grateful for lots of great info and advice on this forum. Perhaps I am being naive, but I am astounded by the cost of bed linen and towels. I have one complete set of (300 thread 100% cotton) bed linen (inc mattress protectors) and towels for a sleeps 6 in my Out of E...

Thanks

Thanks for seconding my reservations.

Now, on to sofas - the Ikea Ektorp has good reviews on here and I think the removable covers make sense.

Are fabric beds hygienic?

Hi, Am new to lettings and researching into beds for holiday home. I see that the current trend is for fabric bedsteads or divans with headboards, but wonder if they are as easy to keep clean as wooden beds. Any thoughts please on aesthetics vs practicality from the more experienced community? Thanks

Thanks

Thanks Mike, Chrissy & Joanna,
Think HLF might be too corporate then, will try to turn the shopping for more bespoke items into a positive experience!

Any experience of HLF Holiday Letting Furniture?

Hi, I’m furnishing my first rental from scratch and I’m looking for good quality but low cost furniture - isn't everyone?! I’ve come across a company called HLF or Holiday Letting Furniture. Most ranges are solid wood and it looks similar to furniture in a hotel managed lodge that I stayed in recent...

HLF

Thanks Joanna,

Lots of really useful info there, so good to know.

We are buying in Bradford on Avon and I thought that I had found a local agent, but turns out that they are also part of Sykes.

I'm meeting with a couple of agents next week.

Thanks again
