Interesting. In monetary terms my internet bookings are about 1.5 times the cost of brochure bookings. I wonder what brings about the differences. I assume (as your brochure costs were massively more than mine) that your had multiple brochure advertisements or perhaps a very big one. It may be that ...

..foot passenger rate up to 96 Euros from 35 Euros and a car with 4 to over 500Euros..... This nearly gave me a heart attack! Do you remember what period and what type of crossing (i.e 5 day, 10 day etc) these were for? I have just checked online and the prices quoted were the same as my last cross...

tb, I suppose it depends on the number and quality of sites you are advertising on too. If you're just using the one, I would look at using at least a couple more. I apologise in advance for the tedium of this posting. Actually I have been using four web sites. I monitor one property which is adver...

Their internet site is poor and their availability service a joke but the brochure is extremely well put together and handsomely published. I find t...

The only problem I have ever had was with somebody who didn't cash the refund check! So far we have never had to withold the deposit and I'm not sure how much damage would make m...

Happily Brittany Ferries have announced slightly more than the take-over of the Le Havre boats. They say that they will alternate one of those ships between Portsmouth Le Havre and Portsmouth Cherbourg. They have also promised: the continuation of their experimental Portsmouth Cherbourg run (with a ...

... Basically microbic you are taxed on 28% of your profit... Microbic is generous but not that generous! I think you meant turnover rather than profit. Microbic assumes that 70 something per cent of your income is offset by deductable expenses and hence you get taxed on the remainder. This is, as ...

Never believe an estate agent. They may be more honest in France than those in the UK but they are never an honest breed. It isn't difficult to find the real figures before buying a property (ask the mayor or local tax office) and you might reasonably expect the same levels of taxation that you find...
