Aaron Thats a very interesting point you make about withdrawing from membership of the regional tourist board. I am currently contemplating that very issue. Advertising in their brochure (Cumbria Tourist Board) is now prohibitive and no longer as productive as it was. The only reason I retain my mem...

Aaron,
Thanks for your compliment - clearly we both have excellent taste. More seriously, I am still featured on one of your B&B sites. We no longer provide B&B and are now exclusively self-catering. I must remember to switch to your self-catering site when due for renewal.

I recommend anyone to heed Paolo's comments above. Enter the search terms you think others would use to find your property and observe which rental sites are prominent. He gave this advice on a previous occasion which I followed with huge success. I carry out this exercise at regular intervals and t...

Hi Paolo, I have previously explored this tutorial when I first used Adwords. My recollection is that I favoured the Keyword Tool at Overture because it produced more accurate and relevant keyword "phrases". Google seemed to concentrate more on "single" keywords and some of them ...

Hi Richard, I am indebted to you again . Webproworld looks a most interesting website. I have already registered and will explore the site when I have more time over the next day or so. Am pleased to advise Paolo and yourself that I have agreed a link through this forum with Villa Mamette. One quest...

Thank you "Rich" for that Advice and for updating my knowledge. I am happy to comply. I am somewhat disappointed that - as yet - I have had no other response.

Hello Paolo, My experience was exactly the same as yours. I looked at both Overture and Google but found the latter much easier to comprehend and use. Having said that, I much preferred the "Oveture Keyword Tool" and based my Keywords and Search Terms on their Tool. Initially I was just &q...

The comments on this subject make interesting reading. I am now finding that I can rely upon the internet exclusively for my enquiries and have ceased all brochure and printed advertising. I no longer have the need for my own brochure and refer all telephone enquiries to my website. Bookings through...

Thanks for the additional useful information Paolo. Needless to say, I came across the Overture Keyword Tool when considering pay-per-click. I have found the tool invaluable - particularly when considering which words and terms to incorporate into my Page Titles.

Reciprocal Links

I am interested in exchanging links with anyone overseas or in the UK (Not based in Cumbria - where I am). Preferably quality accommodation with a minimum Google Ranking of 3. My own website has a Google Ranking of 4.
