I have 2 amazon firesticks, they work really well but you get the French netflix, which is better for us as most movies & tv series are in 2 languages as are the subtitles. No UK catch up TV but we have a sat dish for that. Sorry i dont know much about the chromecast though. Thank you for the i...

UK Netflix and French Chromecast

Hi

Does anyone know whether it is possible to play Netflix (UK version) through a Google Chromecast bought in France?

Previously I have taken our UK Chromecast out to France with us but that didn't work.

Thank you.

I had this email too.
I was with cheznous about 5 years ago but gave up on them after 1 year after receiving zero enquiries or bookings.
I have re-signed with them using this offer for 3 months and will wait to see whether this site works for me now.

You could be right about the April bookings, although we do tend to spend the two weeks over Easter at the house so therefore it is not available for guests (I have not included the house being occupied when it is us!!)

Occupancy rate

Hi all, Just been looking through the end of year figures for our house which we use when we can and let out when we are not using the house. I decided to have a look at the occupancy rates of our house (which does not include when we stay) and was quite surprised at the results. Since 2007 the occu...

Pretty sure that I can't do that from my UK bank as it involves currency conversion and my French internet banking doesn't have the option online - and would involve a visit!

Returning Euro Security Deposit

Hi all. We have had a number of guests from Ireland this year who have paid for the holiday and the security deposit with a Euro to Sterling bank draft. The first of these guests has now had their holiday and returned home and I need to return their £100 security deposit. Whilst I don't mind going i...

Just having a look at Google places.

I want to list my holiday rental in France but we only have a UK phone number (as we live in the UK). Google Places doesn't like this and insists on having a French formatted phone number.

Am I being silly or is there a way around this?

Re: niceholidayhomes

I queried about the VAT area on the sign up page and was told just to put a zero in that field. Ah, ok - thank you. In that case I may well sign up for it (as it's free) but still think the site is lacking in functionality. Will probably be another one of these sites that we sign up to and generate...

Their current pricing appears to be free for a year.
However, on the registration page you can only register (or get through the registration) if you have a VAT number. Odd.
The searching facility is also very poor.
