C'mon guys- really this is a first time poster who posts their comments totally within the boundaries set. There was no personal attack just an opinion....rein in the aggression! On the subject we all should know our baseline costs per week-its not difficult- and charge accordingly. Personally I've ...

Thanks Helen- I am determined this time though not to get sucked in! Its so addictive this forum and full of lovely interesting people that I was very guilty of drifting from adding value and getting involved in discussions that I really had no place to be in (my opinion!) So complete added value fr...

TP - photos with date stamps don't work- you can set digital cameras to whatever date you want(as I was told by my recent guests from hell!). I would go for the highest deposit possible(total about turn caused by recent guests) £500 is not too much with a property like Beanies- the more the better I...

Beanie, lovely chalet and very clever website! Its my guess that your guests will not accept that they left the chalet in an unacceptable way. Write them a letter identifying all the shortfalls with receipts for the extra work if possible and a cheque with whatever is left of their deposit - conside...

I did at the time understand my accountants reasoning- and suppose still do- even though I don't like it! Drive is ours and we use it everyday (when the helicopter is out of commission anyway  ) and we did improve it a tad when we redid it- rolls royce style gravel!- and therefore its an enhan...

Yes he is charted and yes I have legal cover but to be honest this has got me thinking about all sorts of other areas that he said were not allowable which amount to serious money and not just a couple of thousand. - one example we had to resurface our drive and car parking area just because of the ...

I really like it, presumably you may get a lot of Singaporeans and the sq ft details, air con pictures etc will be important to them. The only point that I would make is that it does look a bit unfinished with no bedside tables, lamps or bedding but Fab views of the towers. I was surprised to see you...

Assuming the property was available for occupation in Jan, then you have something to sell from Jan. Yes of course when the property is ready your business can have deemed to have began what I was disputing was the advertising date as the date of business commencement as you can advertise obviously...
