As an aside the bedrooms may be small as traditionally Turks didn't have bedrooms as such apart perhaps a small one for the parents but most Turks I know (and I have been in a lot of houses being married to one) still use their reception rooms as combined living/sleeping areas even if they had 3 of ...

Oh but will youhave an authentic Turkish mother in law sitting in the corner making Gozleme's! I do see what you mean though but as in all food ideas which unfortunately can not be patented it will be about the execution and I am keeping some secrets close to my chest in this area. PS if any LMH'ers...

The best idea by far would be to open your bar in the Dordogne where the region's duck-heavy cuisine is totally devoid of such fabulous stuff. They'd be queueing three times around Sarlat for such tucker. But, failing that, Canterbury (which I know well) is an excellent choice, provided that you ca...

Hi thanks so much for your votes I really really appreciate it. I have put more info on the Barclay's site but only the judges can see it at the moment. This includes a more detail and estimated costs etc. Unfortunately they allow only 50 words for public display.

What a fab guy, love it, I shall make one of my husband next year and suggest they burn it on the village green. We have a firework display paid for by the pub who entice the adults with a BBQ and mulled wine but those of us with children would be dragged along anyway. Considering there's not even a...

Everyone I know from foreign climes favorite English dinner is a good old fashioned roast either lamb or beef if poss but its the roast spuds that seem to do it. My Turkish inlaws go mad for them and we always do a roast to impress our Turkish friends when over there.
