Mmm
I have been with iowners since they started. The only reason I got any enquiries was because I used their website as my primary one and put it on all my publicity. I never got a booking. Now I have my own website, I get absolutely nothing from them??

Hi, I have been with these guys for over a year now, this year I have had one 'booking/enquiry'. Before I accept the booking, anyone else used them? They take the booking and take 2%. Before I hand over my bank details for them to pay me when they get paid etc., want to make sure.

Not just me then!
Nice to see others at it too, thanks for the replies. Fortunately I do my own change-overs as I live here toujours! Maybe I should get into cleaning and being flexible - now there's a thought!

Flexible change-overs, the way to go fo me.
This is our first year running our gite and b&b business. It seemed fairly slow in bookings at the beginning of the year. We now have just over 10 weeks booked and are really pleased. We decided to go a different way and do flexible change-overs (we are also child-friendly). I know some people m...

Kirkland and problem guests
Dear Kirkland, maybe we should all have a button on our enquiry forms asking which newspapers our prospective guests read, that would sort the problem out! LOL.

Travel-Auction
Hi to all,
Have just got an email via my website from Travel-Auction, they are free. They ask for your date of birth which I don't like, so I always lie (nose seems to be growing). Any one had a go with them yet, if not will keep you informed as to how it goes.

I got one too, lucky me! I thought the site was rather poor, when you click on, say, France all the departments are not in alphabetical order, needless to say it took me a while to find mine! Might give it a go though, as you say, it's another link.

ebay advertising and abooking.com
I booked a holiday a few years ago through ebay, it's the first thing I ever bought on ebay and it was great. This is my first year up and running, might give it a go. Also, have had a message from abooking.com for a free listing on their site, they want iban and swiftbic codes. Not many on there fo...
