Thanks for all the replies If you impose a cleaning deposit I think you have to be very precise in exactly what you want guests to do, and how much they will forfeit if they don't. That's why I asked the question  We've not asked for a cleaning fee or deposit in the past as I think that people ...

I agree with you, I've just returned from the US & the size of some/most of the carry-ons was staggering, I assume that none of the staff want an arguement so just pass the problem down the line..

That's what I kept telling myself but he had to be better than me.

The only clue he gave was when he gave me a camera that was probably worth more than my new car to take a picture of him & his motorbike in front of the house.

That's the opposite to what I did, I reclaimed the £17.50 as Input Tax & then charged the client £17.50 as output tax.

As an owner, is none of my business who they are or why they are here. As a nosey git, th e-mail address often gives it away. I found out from his e-mail address that we had a professional fashion photographer staying for a week earlier in the summer & all week I was itching to ask him to take s...

No, dial-up (56k) is the lower end, ADSL speed depends upon how far from the exchange, the quality of the line etc. exactly the same as the UK.

The machine I'm typing this on is dual boot Windows 7/Ubuntu & I get more security updates on Ubuntu than Windows & can crash Ubuntu easier than Windows.

Re: Anyone used Sagepay go

Hi, I currently use Paypal for my transactions, becoming pretty expensive. Has anyone used or any info about Sagepay, it looks as if it may be a good alternative, set monthly fee. We use SagePay for on-line transactions for our software business, they took over from Protox who were very good but un...

I'm with Musetta, use a real e-mail address, it's much more professional.

I'm still confused as to why one would forward a real e-mail address mail to gmail (or another free service) anyway, especially considering the problems that are reported here.
