Thanks e-richard, we will look into getting one of those fitted. i guess oit them offers an additional appeal to guests of an 'open' phone and internet access. :D

Funnily enough the fact that referendums and forums and stadiums are now coonsidered to be technically correct and are therefore included in the standard dictionaries just makes them annoy me more. Not only do they irritate me like mad, I cannot even claim the intellectual high ground! :evil:

I did realise that entering this topic would be a minefield. Please let me point out that I am no English scholar and I make plenty of mistakes!!! I guess mt previous enrty has already made that clear and you are absolutely right her wrath does read so much better and is of course correct.
