Re: Simply Owners

I emailed simply owners to ask if there was any offers or deals coming up. They did reply, quite a curt reply really, saying no!

Taxes after brexit in Spain

My gestor gave me some interesting info today, I haven't researched it yet so don't know the ins and outs. I have copied and pasted verbatum ''Norwegians are treated equally for taxes than any other EU citizen despite they do not belong to the EU. A British resident renting an apartment here will ha...

I've tried fotocasa and habitaclia but they don't seem to do rentals under a month. I've asked and that's what they said even though the translation seems to say 'temporada' which to me is seasonal but I don't think it is! I haven't found anything out there now that works anywhere near like spain-ho...

We are selling one at the end of summer 2022 and keeping the other but not renting out. We already have bookings to next August so do not want to disppoint guests, we have many repeaters. Renting is just not worth it now. As you say tax at 24%, no deductions and now with the last big OTA, spain-holi...

Yes this is true, your gestor should work that out and submit it. Its what was called the old 'renta' or wealth tax I believe. Even if you dont rent that part still gets worked out and you have to pay it!

I feel for you Kathy. We are doing the same next year with our apartment in Spain (though we will still keep the house but not rent it out) After 20 years Brexit and Covid (tax laws in Spain now very different if you are non resident and not part of the eu) have made us decide to sell, breaks my hea...

Latest update. I have lost my reviews. The house is not showing as avaliable anywhere at any time. The apartment is being shown as 'others near Torrevieja' with no reviews and lots of things ticked as being part of the apartment when they are not. Helene advises its has 'been reported to bookiply' T...

Shame on them. After 20 years it looks like I have lost all my reviews, all 21 of them. I dont have a rating! I'm not in the top 18 for the area but below that which is classified as 'rentals near Torrvieja' when in fact we are in Torrevieja. I'm so angry..........I think this is because I am on the...

It gets worse. I've just had the email re a webimar promoting the new website etc (which I won't be joining) Checked my adverts and all of 2022 is blocked out for both properties? Can't see how to change that on the existing dashboard. On the apartment advert its says I have a BBQ which I don't. (BB...
