Thank you for your replies I have placed an advert and will give it a go.
I have been with TopRural for several years but this year the bookings have been poor from them.

Does anyone advertise on the site: Pour Les Vacances? - and if so does the site produce enquiries/bookings? - we have 2 apartments in the Pyrenees and are looking to advertise somewhere new.

We have decided to put English TV in our gites as around 80% of our visitors are English......... which is the cheapest and best way of doing this please? Can anyone recommend which type of box to buy?

Do most owners have English free to view in their accomodation? We have multi national channels in ours and mainly just English news programmes.

so in the end after much research I have ordered a shower bath and screen from Better Bathrooms UK - the total cost will be around £500 (including transport) - you can find them in France but we needed a smallish one and the choice in UK was much greater............. thanks for the replies..... www....

we have advertised with Holiday Rentals since 2007 and have just gone to renew our listing to find they have increased their prices AGAIN............ £150 in 2007 - £300 now - if we increased our rentals prices like that - no one would come here!

We were with Gites NL last year and got a couple of bookings but when I phoned them about their site they didn't seem at all interested in taking on board my comments ...........and so have not bothered to renew.
