I did this last year and although I still have yet to achieve the elusive FB booking it did attract a few more fans to my page.

Re: Niumba alternative?

If you speak Spanish you might try homeaway.es It only cost me 1 euro and I've had quite a few enquiries from it. If I remember correctly - you can't do this if you're registered on homeaway.com - they want to charge you a lot more. If this is the case then you need to register with a different e m...

I won't even call this property a competitor, but an apartment near mine is rented at £175 per week in the summer, and the neighbours complain about the 'quality' of the guests :( Funnily enough my husband said I should justify the price to them but I said no for this very reason. That being said I...

First fortnight in August price request!

Just been dealing with an enquiry for the first fortnight in August, IMO the most popular 2 weeks of the year. The enquirer did say they were looking for a price of approximately 350 to 400 euros, they didn't say but I thought perhaps this is per week (still a low price IMO) or per person, there are...

We are not far from you and struggle with winter too, I have 5 nights booked at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov, had a few enquiries for Nov this year and last year had a fair bit of interest in X-mas/New Year but didn't book it. Anything between now and March is a bonus and I have to agree with tho...

Sorry I think I should have said I have Googled her! Really not sure about this one at all (someone from Colombia may just want to stay in the apartment) but I have quoted and won't be open to any Western Union payments or funny cheques.

LOL, looks like I'm very much contradicting myself further up, think the booking came from one of the last enquiries on the two week free upgrade. I was impressed on two points, the high level of enquiries and a booking within two weeks however I think they must give the two week free upgrade people...

The best price brigade annoy me too, in fact my best price was two summers ago when I got away with charging 605 euros for a peak season week as opposed to the 585 euros I charge now but I suspect this not quite the reply they are looking for. Amazingly though the last person who asked for 'best pri...

It's the laid back Spanish Bank and perhaps a dishonest employee of Api Virtual who I've sent the details too that worry me. :-/ Niumba themselves are a bit of an enigma, had a free ad with them for ages and then was offered a two week free upgrade to Premium and the enquiries just went mad (think t...

Also asked him to check that the Spanish cards are on our CPP insurance as we have fraud prevention on it. Can't drain it unfortunately as it's the account all our bills and mo...

Ah of course and that might fit with the bad spelling and gibberish, maybe they meant to call it alquilar?

Seems a bit of a strange name but akilar.com for Spain?

I've just stumbled upon this site akilar.com and they are doing a free trial for three months and then afterwards £75 for the year. Anyone heard of it before?
