To Igor. I wonder how it's going with your listing with Everystay and therefore Hometogo? Have you had any bookings that you can attribute to this? I haven't listed with Everystay yet and when I was looking again at doing it, I found our property on Hometogo - no idea why, as we ceased to list with ...

Everystay / Hometogo
Keep us up to date, Igor. I plan to use Everystay too, in a month or so, and I will post our experiences.

Our bookings are up for this time of year. We are surprised that we have so many, before the end of February. Normally at this time of year we are worried that we haven't got enough, although we eventually usually do OK. We have a 1 bedroom house and couples do frequently book later than larger grou...

Hometogo
I can't believe I've missed this. I've checked Hometogo and we appear due to our OD subs listing, which is coming to an end soon. We don't want to renew OD with all the dreadful conditions that would then be mandatory. We don't list with any other big listings but it seems you can independently sign...

Facebook groups
If anyone knows of a 'European' FB group that would include Croatia, I would be very pleased to hear about it, please. We only 'Sleep 2' so our guests are couples, some who are on their honeymoon, who like walking, cycling, truffles/gourmet/wine/ olive oil, birds/nature, photography (fab views), par...

Hi Liz. No experience as an owner, but we have used the site (from UK) a couple of times as guests, when we wanted to spend a night in FVG. I can't remember much about the bookings, but no problems spring to mind.

I feel exactly the same. I do actually like the dark grey very much, but I struggle with the white writing.Blanche wrote:I don't find white print on a dark background easy to read so I would always vote for black print on a light colour.

Yes, Independent Owners is still going. We have had a website with them for several years now, with a few of their paid-for upgrades. Their support is very good.

Yes, of course, that's true - both of you. I just hadn't thought of that. In fact I use @VillaKlarici, just as Richards says, on Facebook.

Domain names
Thanks for your replies, Russell and Joanna. I will be buying both names and we will see how it goes. When the time comes, I will also need to point our existing domain name to the new site - but I will put that off as long as I can, as I understand that would be too many!

Advice with domain name
villa-klarici.com Vs villaklarici.com
We are finally going to buy a domain name with our house name in it. villa-klarici.com is easier to read than villaklarici.com but is a hyphen in a domain name, a problem? Can anyone help please?
Both are available atm
Thanks.

HA 7 nts price
Hi Dado I think you have online booking, so that may be different from us, but we have Sunday arrivals and 7 nights minimum, so we put Sunday in the first date and Saturday in the last date, not the actual departure date, as it needs to be the correct number of nights. This might not be your problem...

smoke detectors
Sorry, I don't have a solution, just wanted to say that they put in a smoke detector in the toilets where I used to work to stop sneaky smoking, after which it used to go off sometimes when people had a poo!

Thanks, Andrew. I've been in touch with Stripe and they will email if/when they operate in Croatia.
