Is this a scam

Got an enquiry for October and sent info as normal, got this response tonight. Your apartment we loved. The only drawback we have is that in our country (Argentina) at the moment are prohibited the transfers of foreign currency abroad. That is why, we wonder if we can agree on another form in which ...

I am always surprised by the things that have been moved about, radiators switched off, extractor fan switched off at the mains, batteries removed from carbon monoxide alarm, furniture moved about, plants swimming in water etc etc.

So frustrating

I called the guests as I felt it would be uncaring not too, they were fine. They told me they were about to go on the London Eye and were enjoying themselves. I kept it light hearted and asked if everything was OK, they said they were enjoying London and thanked me for checking in on them. Maybe tou...

On the south bank of the Thames, just across from Westminster, no shops near us thankfully.Well no Curry's or sports shops anyway!
Current guests have not contacted me and I was wondering if I should contact them. I do not want to alarm them but I don't want to be uncaring either.

Cancellation due to London riots

My guests for next week have cancelled due to the ongoing rioting in London. To be honest I was expecting it as I know it is a mum traveling on her own with two young teens. Of course she now wants a full refund, I do feel for her but cannot offer her a full refund. I have explained that if I re boo...

I have a Lavazza machine, its a commercial one so it is good, if you like lots of coffee, I don't!
The machine the guests brought was a huge thing, he struggled carrying it up the stairs! it was not a dinky little Nespresso machine. It also took up so much counter space.
Each to their own I suppose

Things guests take on Holiday

Had a changeover today and was amazed by the amount of kit this family had brought with them. They drove over from France. Apart from foodstuff and cleaning products they brought an enormous coffee machine. It works on "pods" like Nespresso. I was amazed that they brought such a thing on h...

I have 34 reviews in 11 months which I think is probably about 50% of guests. I had a guest book and very few wrote in it, I removed it as I thought I will email the guests on their return home and ask them to do the review then. I then decided instead of emailing I would text guests the night befor...

The you tube video is lovely, especially the exterior shots, they really sell the holiday idea to potential guests. This does not come across in your advert on OD. Maybe change some of the bedroom pictures for some of the beautiful exterior pictures you have. Sending people who enquire the you tube ...

ISY, your house looks lovely and just the kind of place we would book. I suspect the problem is that outside of the school holidays the house is too big. Families with school age children tend to be back in the UK the last week in August in order to get ready for the new school year. Would you consi...

Welcome to LMH gardenboy
You can't spot disrespectful clients in advance - I've had a few bad ones over the years & it makes no difference how you treat them - they don't respect you, try not to take it personally.
ain't that true
