I've only been asked twice, both times this year. 1st one asked what my best price was, so i replied ideally my best price would be £1000 per week, but as I charge £600 you can have it for £600. The second asked for 2 weeks in August and that they had a total budget of £205. I told them I could get ...

John, I agree an extra bathroom is great, but I don't think you should pay a premium for it. Susan, I think you have a beautiful property and honestly think your way too cheap. I have a 2006 chez nous directory in front of me and there is an ad for a 2 bed villa/mobile home £795 per week and tent Â...

Susan, I don't think an extra bathroom justifies a premium where as a pool does.We have 2 gites sleep 4 and 2 sleep 5/6. each of ours are around 100m2, 1 bathroom 1 toilet. Only once has a guest ever mentioned an extra bathroom, my reply was (how many bathrooms do you have at home then) only 1 he sa...

2006 bookings

Susan, assuming http://www.brittany-cottages.co.uk is your place I'll tell you why you have so many bookings for next season. You're too cheap, for what you have and what your charging you're offering amazing value. Just look at http://www.brittanygite.com/ and how much they charge, 4 person gite £...

I believe the intention is to have a site for each region in the future, the guy, Robert that started the site is looking to move to Brittany in the future and as he knows the area has started here. If the demand is good then other areas will follow.

Hi Paolo,
No your not thick, its a new site by the guy thats doing my own site for me, and as he had developed some software for someone else he thought he'd put it to use and put together bonjourlafrance.co.uk a few weeks ago, hence I'm the only one on there.

Free advertising for Gites in Brittany

Hi, for anyone with gites in Brittany you can advertise them on bonjourlafrance.co.uk for free should anyone be interested.

Its a good site, you can update your own page yourself, again free.

Ps I have nothing to do with the site other than I've got an add on there.

We've always been againts having TV's, but last yr we decided to put a TV nd DVD player in all our gites. I'm glad we did, with the terrible weather we had last yr it really made a differance to our guests, and it always breaks the ice too. I have a fairly large collection of DVD's which I lend to g...

I gave him the password, he does the work, but I can up-date and change whatever i want myself as he's showed me some of the basic code nee...

They are making my site and so far I'm very happy, they are very very helpful and far cheaper than the price you've been quoted.
