From the website link you provide here in your posting there is a link eventually to WiFi being available if I bother to trawl that far. Plus the website does not seem to have been updated since 2013.

The place looks lovely but no WiFi immediately obvious and I scroll on. Sorry.

You can usually spot a chancer by the fact that they'll have a long list of things that were wrong, rather than one genuine thing that was wrong. A leaking iron that is a death threat. A half-eaten sausage that endangers health. All cobblers, and simply serves to demonstrate that this is a massive ...

I think that you and the OP are using English as a second language; this is not a criticism just an observation, I see that you posted at 4.05am UK time, you can see my time, it is 9pm local time and I really dont know what you are implying here...........!!!! but It makes me uneasy........I use En...

Perhaps I misunderstand has been written on this thread, but it sounds like a few people are implying that the OP is acting unprofessionally and giving the industry a bad name. Ouch. I think the OP brought up some valid concerns, and I don't see why it should matter quite so much (to any of us, at ...

Miss Mouse, you are here because you're an owner? It doesn't sound as if you use B&Bs and self-catering properties much when you travel, thus I'm assuming so .... :) Yes, I suppose this should be in the 'introduce yourself' section but it is a bit late now. Jaded after 20 years of holiday letti...

Of course having friends for coffee or even dinner is not wrong. Using the property as a 'party' venue is a bit of a different matter though. Agreed, perhaps I have misunderstood, this is from the OP >He now wants to invite two relatives with a small child who live quite nearby to visit "but w...

Re: Extra guests

Maybe you don't have experience of a larger group gathering in your property and the subsequent damage that can be caused? Unfortunately I do. No, not everyone is trustworthy. I have not knowingly stayed at any LMH property so do not comment on their professionalism, why do you assume that I am? Ha...

Re: Extra guests

That's very judgemental I'd say on the OP? Why do you surmise he's running a hobby business? I'm most certainly not and I can understand why he has concerns. I have not stayed in the OP's holiday rental so cannot comment. I have however stayed in too many places where a professional hospitality ser...

Re: Extra guests

We've just had a similar happening. It seems that our apt was used for the bride & bridesmaids leaving point, that would account for all the makeup over the mirrors, dressing tables & bathrooms. It also served for the storage of several young children during the ceremony who were looked aft...

Re: Potentials Canadian guests

according to him, bank transfers are not common over there. I have to laugh. My Canadian cousin telephoned a day or two ago and among the topics discussed was Cousin's rant about The Banks. She wanted to transfer some of her funds from one Cdn bank a/c to another Cdn bank a/c, different banks but b...

Tell the guests to bring one plus a mat, everyone has a pilates/yoga/keep fit mat these days, unless you want to buy and store more pieces of stuff of course.

erm, can't the extra child sleep on the floor in, say, a sleeping bag and plus perhaps a camping mat if the carers want to be kind? What an adventure, the kid can be made to feel special and not an inconvenience. I don't get this obsession with beds, I am well into my dotage and can still sleep on t...

Re: Potentials Canadian guests

Plus according to him, bank transfers are not common over there. This is true. It is possible to make bank transfers within the same bank group so my account in Canada Bank to your account in Canada Bank can be done but my account in Canada Bank to my other account in Another Canada Bank is impossi...
