LotBoy We're down near Carcassonne, and a villa not a Gite, but we get a reasonable response from HFD Brittany Ferries and French Connections. Two bookings of 7 days each in the last 12 months from each, so it 'aint huge, but they do pay their way. Gite Search and Gites.Com don't do anything for us....

Anyone have experience of this site for bookings?

Spot on Nemo. Mrs R decided it was worth the small investment some time earlier this year. Needless to say - no results whatever. Their (is there more than one of them - or perhaps they share a brain cell?) business model is nonsensical and I doubt there's ever been a single booking from the website...

I guess this may depend on how many units you have.

We have a single unit and use PIMS lite: inexpensive, more than adequate and - best of all - superfast and easily understood response from Richard to all my dumb questions.
