So it came today - 21.99€ on Amazon or two for 39.99€. It is much more stylish than the Safe-T-Light and also has a motion sensor which makes it light up the front panel someone passes. So all the features of the Safe-T-Light and more. It is an induction charger, so maybe has the problem that Ian me...

I have the same issues with Safe-T Lights as the rest of you. I sent the designer a message about the design. We had quite a long conversation about his design choices and I challenged him on his design choice. He said he had invested a lot of money on the tooling and design to meet EU energy savin...

I've just changed from Credit Agricole Who I lost confidence in a while ago (15 years with them!). I now bank with CMB -Arkea. Very happy with service, very professional. Transfer of accounts was a nightmare though! Despite Emmanuel Macron's law to make it easier!

Just my two penneth .. Having moved here 15 years ago with 2yo and 4yo and husband (who has now left France). I love it but it is not without it's ups and downs as have been mentioned before. My advice is don't over think it, or else you'll never do it. Will you regret giving it go, or will you regr...

Poor, verging on catastrophic here .... not sure what to do, but research shows me that it is the same for everyone in my area. Will they come? Here I have probably 98% UK or Ireland. Perhaps they will come later ... Perhaps I'll get French instead as they normally enquire last minute when I'm norma...

Clouds

Can I have recommendations for cloud use, please. Primarily between my desktop and laptop, but possibly for my android devices, too? What is the most efficient and easiest to use. I have, for many years, been using Carbonite to do automated online backups, can I replace this with a cheaper (or free)...

I've had it happen to me once. My site was not hacked, but the attempt meant that I woke in the morning to hundreds of emails (from wordfence) notifying me of the attempt. My host shut my site down without notifying me, so it was only the wordfence emails that alerted me. I was up and running withi...

If it's a Wordpress site, do you have Wordfence installed? Thanks, GB, I didn't, but I do now. 8) The biggest problem is that my main email address has been used to send out over 2500 spam/virus emails during the last couple of days. With the help of the team at webhostingpad, I have put extra secu...

I am trialling LastPass at the moment and its taking a while to get to grips with it, but I think its going to be worthwhile. Thanks for that Richard, LastPass is the one that I was looking at, too! The problem with the website has recurred three times this weekend, so I'm a bit stressed having to ...

Firstly my website was not available with this message : http://www.brittanygites.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/screenshot.png My site is hosted by webhostingpad (who I have had no problems with in the past). They changed the password to my mail account last week and...

And how many people do you think do that ? I am very aware that we are in a minority. I was just pointing out what the French regs were and that they can help you if you have problems with your water quality. I found them very helpful when I first started my pool, they came to visit and gave me lot...

We do comply with French regs French regulations require any pool that is available to public use (classed as outside your immediate family and friends) to be declared to the ARS (Agence Régionale de Santé) who will send someone to analyze your water quality every month that the pool is open. It's not just immigrants that are the problem there, UK citizens are also to blame in many cases. In Switzerland they put a huge amount of pressure on people to get you back into work ASAP. Being unemployed is damn hard work, trust me. You want to try living in France, Kev - it's dire here with peo...
