Thanks for the info. I am not sure what the form I have been issued with is then as it has been stamped and signed ?? Dont think I will bother if I have to do the course. We don't really have that many people asking about meals to warrant paying out 600 euros just yet (and also my french is not good...

Hi, Has anyone recently completed the process of applying for a cat 2 license for serving wine etc with evening meals. I recently did my application at the Mairie and a few days later received the form back signed and stamped by the Mairie. Is this the license or do I need to wait for something else...

I am just in the process of researching prices etc for websites to advertise our chambre d'hôte in the Charente with.
