Thank you all... it's really hard now as we are waiting for the man to come and pick her up - maybe Monday...

It's certainly brought it home to me for folk that have lost a horse or donkey etc. at least Clochette can be picked up and be put in the lorry when it comes.

Broken loo... this time thankfully at home! For you clever people that manage to repair loo's... we have a wall mounted that the inner gubbins have disengaged so doesn't flush... can't buy parts off the shelf (5 week wait if you order... doesn't bear thinking about... bit more than crossing your leg...

Yes ,martinique is still French & € . Very Happy There is no currency issues. But if you are coming from the States or UK there are currency changes... the Caribbean is US/UK/Europe orientated ... the Dutch Islands which I would think have € too... Not everyone wants to change flights... we wen...

Isn't Martinque still French & € ?

We are thinking that if we go on a Caribbean holiday this year we would do a French Island so no currency issues?

You have to look at all the links re flights etc. what attracts who.

I'm reluctant as it didn't make that much for us... even with the WW2 history here - I'm not sure with € so strong - I think I'd rather concentrate on more continental markets i.e. in the € zone... they don't seem to have any other suggestions though!
