but i am confused..If we have a house with gite we can register ( at the moment) at AE or get advice on micro bic etc. But i thought if we bought 2 separate independent flats/houses there would be much bigger tax implications or am i way off track as i have said i have no idea what i am talking about.

would you set up? We are still trying to decide where to start looking. we need to rent out gite for 6-8 weeks a year to top up pension so location etc is important. So far we love Brittany Gironde Ardeche - but expensive any other ideas - not sure do you look for somewhere nr other gites or a locat...
