But in Spain there's scales in both houses.Cheap as chips. :D Sent hubby out in Spain to buy scales as I was having a packing nightmare. He came back with a set of those hi-tech BMI calculator things. It's supposed to do everything except the wine and chocolate out of your hand - cost him 30...

Re: Bathroom scales

I know that I lost one booking last year because I don't allow smoking the house. It was 2 'older' couples and one of the ladies was worried that if the weather turned cool they wouldn't want to be going outside just to have cigarette. Although I could have done with the booking I was happy to lose ...

Just had a telling off!
Received an enquiry in Spanish through Niumba. I replied immediately to say that I was sorry but the dates requested were already booked. Almost immediately I received an email telling me off for not keeping my availability calendar up to date and 'causing confusion'!!! Funny thing is that I am meti...

Paul, most airlines allow parents to keep their pushchair until they are about to board the plane because they need it in the airport. Imagine carrying a baby/toddler around Stansted for 2+ hours - nightmare! So even if the airlines did charge, I can't see many parents wanting to travel without thei...

I count the first email enquiry as just that - an enquiry. I ask them to conatct me again if they wish to proceed with a booking. If I've spoken to the Enquirer and they express an interest in booking but don't actually commit, I tell them I can't hold the dates as I've been let down in the past but...
