I haven't sent any messages to aol addresses. So far today I have received 5 undelivered mail messages. Is there any way of stopping it that you know of? What do the hoaxers get out of it? Thanks for your reply.

Mail delivery subsystem
Hi I keep receiveing e-mails supposedly telling me that my mail cannot be delivered. They all come with attachments. As far as I am aware none of my mail has been undelivered. Is this a new way of infecting a system with a virus of some sort. I have copied one of the messages below: The original mes...

rel="nofollow"
Hi
Having used the seo-analyzer mentioned elsewhere, the report says that I'm not using the rel="nofollow" anchor attribute. Can anyone please tell me what this is and if it is important. I am a novice at web design and am learning as I go along

Doctype
Hi
Is a Doctype declaration necessary in the code of a website? If so:
1. What does it do?
2. How do I know what to put? I've looked on the www.w3.org site at the valid dtd list but haven't got a clue which one to use.
Thanks in advance

Keywords
Does anybody know, if I decide on my keywords, then want to change them in the future (after my site has been published), will I be penalised by the search engines?

Thanks to everyone for replying. I have decided to look for an alternative to 1and1 so all your suggestions have been very welcome. Now I just have to decide! I have been trying to write my own html code, using Frontpage 2003. Will I need a host which supports Frpntpage extensions or can I just uplo...

1and1
Hi Does anybody use 1and1 for web hosting? I have found the right package but when I try to purchase it tells me it's only available in the US or Canada. They give an alternative for UK customers, (although it is more expensive) but we only have an address in France. Does anyone know if there is a w...

CGI
Hi Please could somebody explain the difference between mailto and CGI form handlers. Is CGI necessary and if so does anyone know if wanadoo.fr has a form mail script (and what it is called in French!)? I am trying to write all my own html code as Frontpage seems a bit restrictive in what it will al...
