Van space available
I'm travelling from Cumbria in the UK to our property near Pau on May 8th and will have an empty van on the journey down if anyone has an items they would like me to transport for them. I'll be travelling via Calais, through Le Mans, Tours, Poitiers and Bordeaux. No frozen shopping I'm afraid!

Anyone know a plumber?
I'm after a plumber to help with some work on a shower at our property 30 minutes from Pau, Pyrenees Atlantiques. Only thing is all our plumbing is with English dimension fittings so the plumber would need to be able to adapt to the slightly different fits. Any ideas?

Japanese Knotweed problems
This nasty stuff is all over the woods near to our property but some has migrated into our garden and is growing under part of the house. A bit has even got through the wall into the kitchen. Safe and secure storage for leaving keys between guests
We're just starting out on this, but aren't sure of the best way to leave keys between guest visits. As these would have to be left somewhere on the outside of the building (even metal boxes attached to walls aren't burglar-proof I'm warned) we've been looking at using a remotely operated keypad ent...

Re: Any advice/comments on my new website
Having bought this property under a month ago we're now expecting our first guests on Saturday (we inherited quite a few from the previous owners who were also holiday letting)! I decided to use Promotemyplace for this site rather than Iowners who I used on my other site and have to say I'm really ...
