we leave out 2 tea towels per week plus a kitchen roll as well as leaving a drawer full of spare ones (with an apron!) some weeks the drawer is empty while others untouched. Have even had some guests who having used all then put a wash on with them before they left in case we didnt have any more :sh...

We try to mow and garden when guests are out or on changeover day but for all our pots of flowers we have water retention crystals? - not sure what their proper name is but it means the plants survive on a weekly water. or at least have for the last couple of years - crossing fingers for the coming ...

I use ones from ikea and superU depending on the size and height of the mattresses. ikea = 90*200 superU = 90*190
neither seem to rustle IMHO as someone else said the superU ones have a little test square on the outside of the packet.
