Airbnb’s confused robot

This is part of a message I sent in response to an enquiry on the Airbnb platform “Thank you for your enquiry for November 01 to 15 2020. We have availability for these dates. Please let me know. Your message also mentions a long period from September 01 2020 until the end of June 2021. We are conf...

I started with AirBnB at the end of 2018. The second guest clicked in the middle of the first rating box (Overall Rating). He had assumed that this was the entry click to go to reviews, but in fact it registered as 3 stars overall. He then proceeded to write an excellent review and clicked 5 stars i...

We supply a large and wide roll of professional size aluminium foil with the BBQ, together with instructions to 'cover the BBQ catchment tray' with aluminium before using the BBQ and to replace it with fresh aluminium foil for their next use. In most cases, guests have done that.

Once again, Helen, you have the answers. Thank you. I have read many blogs on the subject - some that have been pulling their hair out over instant bookings for arrival on a Thursday, departing 10 days later on a Sunday - in the middle of August! The owners' planned Saturday to Saturday fixed weeks ...

Hello Hells Bells I am considering Booking.com. Setting up has been relatively easy. However I have not been able to show 'changeover day' (ie Saturdays for peak season bookings. I have managed to set the calendar so it will only except bookings for minimum of 7 nights on Saturdays - but then it sho...

Regarding our 5/5 villa on the French Riviera, the story is a bit different. Of the last 20 bookings from all sources, TA have produced 7 of them - and yes, very international, with some from the US, Canada and Australia as well as GB. I am still on subscription, so there are no hefty fees added for...

Well I took the plunge and signed up in Oct 2017... I asked them to add a new location (my village) for my listing. They did. I asked them to enable one click to my website (instead of going through a form first). They did. Now I have just received my first booking through them. Rather encouraging, ...

I am trying to go through the hoops of listing with them. However when I reached the 'rates' page I couldn't find how to enter different rates for each season. Stopped in my tracks. Enlightenment needed please !

I think it would do no harm to fill in a support report. In my case, it seemed as though someone was dedicated to fix my websites, rather than a blanket move for all PMP websites.

PMP really came up trumps in the end. They worked rapidly on the glitch, sending me periodic emails on their progress, and all was restored within a few hours. Sometimes it takes an issue like this to demonstrate how helpful and efficient companies like PMP really are.

I contacted PMP and they replied quickly that they were aware of the issue, and their tech guys were working on a fix. They suggest I wait a bit for their tech guys before re-entering missing details.

Promote My Place - A big technical issue today?

In the early hours of July 13 2017, large chunks of text, photos etc. simply 'disappeared' from my PMP websites. Then I received scores of SMS messages and emails from them of old enquiries - long since dealt with. Are all PMP users experiencing the same problem? Would a LMH technical person comment...
