you think you've got problems...
managing over 25 properties I've seen the lot. By far the most revolting and rather mysterious, were the white towels very obviously caked in feces. And I mean all of them, all over the towels. Perhaps they ran out of toilet paper and didn't want to have to buy more? Only fit for burning, obviously.

Rental enquiries are immediately starred and flagged, and contacts added to Apartment group, meaning any emails from any enquirer are easy to find. To be honest, the webmail is not particularly sophisticated on 1and1, so I prefer to use gmail. Helen, are you able to have contacts coming to a certai...

Re: Italian Translation Help, Please?
I'd like to put the following entry into my online guestbook but can't decipher the handwriting on the words in quotes. Would one of you Italian speakers be willing to help? Cara Deb, ti "ringro-ziamo" per la piacevole "accoglinza" nella tua deliziosa casa. Lisbona é bellissima...

beware!
These people are aggressive and I suspect a scam. They have been hassling me and directly to some of the owners whose properties I manage for a long time now. They even sent an invoice and letter threatening legal action when he didn't pay a 1200 pound "invoice" based on a "verbal&quo...

new site, don't want to lose good rankings of old one
Hi all, I'm hoping there are some SEO experts out there who can help me. After a few years hard work and tweaking, I am finally number one on google for my chosen key phrase and many others. In the meantime I have redesigned my site and will soon be using a CMS written in php for my site. This means...

villarenters system
Hi I've been using the Villarenters system for a while now, and use it for about 12 properties I manage for the owners. Don't be misled by the term robot secretary: that only kicks in once they've made a booking. All the usual correspondence prior to booking takes place, it's just that once they boo...

Sarah, Thank you for sharing the before and after photos. The contrast is striking. I understand this photographer had a special wide angle lens, but do you know what kind of camera he was using and did he use strobe lighting? It seems to me that it doesn't matter how good a person is with their to...

Sarah, Did you find that the trade fair was a worthwhile investment? I have another business (property finding and consulting for purchases etc) and also manage rentals for about 15 properties, so yes, it was worth it for me. But if you have one property I think the money (which is considerable - s...

In my case, we were doing only interiors, so the weather outside didn't matter. To do the exteriors will be tricky as Lake garda hasa funny microclimate and sometimes if it is hazy you can't see the lake. So when the odd clear day comes, you just have to call in the troops last minute. I have agreed...

by the way I have the copyright to these photos: I can use them as much as I want for whatever purpose: the only limitation is that if they are published, in a magazine article for example, I have to name the photographic studio. Considering I paid 500 euros recently just to use two large scale prin...
