I never return the deposit on departure as how can I thoroughly inspect a property firstly with the holiday makers over your shoulder and ...

Pets
I love dogs and prefer guests who are "doggy" as they are generally more relaxed. But I have two dogs who might mind sharing their garden with other dogs. With 5 gites here I might end up with loads of dogs, who could turn into a bit of a pack. Has anyone else had experience of their dogs ...

France vs UK - lunches
Being in the Loire area I think we are lucky with our eating out options at lunchtime. Never been disappointed by a single plat de jour, but more often there is a choice with a menu de jour. Why by al a carte when you can get magret de canard on ther 12 € menu (with starter pud and wine!)

Clearly not a problem that I just have then
Its a never ending expense, but because our loungers are used by any of our guests and are not gite specific I can never pin the damage on anyone. I hate throwing awat plastic, so an resulute in not buying anymore. Has anyone used oak deckchairs?
