Promote My Place Runtime Error

Hi, I have just tried to log in to my website to update booking availability and been unable to, due to 'Runtime Error'. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue this evening?

I can recommend Asda 100% cotton 300 thread count sateen striped duvet sets and also sheets. They wash well at 60 degrees and last a very long time. Good value, especially if you buy in the sale.

It may be worth getting a holiday letting agent out from somewhere like Coastal Cottages (if in Pembrokeshire) to give you a fair idea of rental possibilities. I think Coasty is an estate agency which sells mainly holiday cottages, so it may be worth giving them a call.

I'm just wondering if the 'owners present' part relates to where a room is let out in the owner's property on Airbnb for example (not as in renting out an 'entire property') if the owner is not actually living there?

Hi, just out of curiousity, does anyone know whether properties listed on AirBnB have to comply with fire risk assessments/PAT testing/public liability insurance etc. the same as normal furnished holiday lets?

Does anyone know whether this company is still running? My cottage is listed on a few of their links and I have had some success with bookings via them in the past. I tried ringing the other day to check when my renewal is due, but the line was dead and I also messaged them on Facebook but no reply.

No, I am cancelling when my renewal is due in September and will be listing elsewhere instead. I had a phone call from Owners Direct asking what I thought of the changes. I bet they wish they hadn't asked...!

Thanks for that Yorkshire Lass. I rang OD and they have changed it to 'no refund' for me. This option isn't technically correct as I would refund depending on circumstances/ability to rebook etc. I would have preferred an option 'contact owner for details', but that would be too simple for OD. I als...

OD - check your cancellation policy

Hi, I have not signed up to book now or online payments and never intend to. After I responded via the dashboard to an enquiry last night, I noticed that OD have tagged to the end of my email 'this owners accepts 100% refund up to 2 weeks before start of holiday or 50% up to 7 days before'. I am fur...

Thanks Greenbarn, that's very useful information. Maybe it's not the one for me; I might consider Independent Cottages instead.

I have just received an email from Country Cottages Online offering 20% discount to list with them. Has anyone had any success with them recently? I have just renewed with OD but as my listing will probably end up on the last page (I refuse to accept 'Book Online'), I am considering an additional si...

I have listed with Cottage Cooperative for 2 years. I have found it good value and have had a few bookings from guests who have found my website there. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

In my previous home I had a very realistic wood effect worktop from Howdens. It was called block oak laminate with a square edge. It may be a compromise, to achieve the country effect without the maintenance. I plan to use it again when I'm ready to replace the kitchen in my holiday cottage.

Hi, I have been using one at home for the past few months. It's fine for finishing off washing that is damp from the line and needs airing. However, I personally find that even after adding ice cubes to the water there is still to much condensation produced from a load straight from the washing mach...
