I've been using LP for..I don't know, a dozen years? It's saved my bacon plenty of times. I have CC numbers saved, various account stuff saved such as security question answer. things like that. I have it on the PC, laptop and various mobile devices (for the mobile devices I set it not the automatic...

Use a password manager like Lastpass. If you click on a link in an email (and we all do it, even when we shouldn't) and you're taken to a domain to login, even if it looks right if it's not the right domain then LP will not prefill the login fields with your data. That, right there, is your first wa...

A bit more information for you. I sell an online booking engine called Jomres. I'm not suggesting you use it, it's not targetted to most LMH users as it's more of an OTA type system. I hang around here because you people help me to understand the trials and tribulations you experience as property ow...

Emmy, The GDPR is more than for just cookies, I'm afraid. Depending on how you do business you may have to do a lot or a little work. Looking at your website, you don't do any online bookings that I can see, however you do have a contact page : http://www.textileholidaysfrance.com/?page_id=1546 Stri...

Jomholiday*? Serves them right, I have no sympathy for them. Should have gone with Jomres :D :D :D * To explain, Jomholiday are a competitor of mine and I had to report them to the Joomla Extension Directory editors because of their fake reviews. They were banned for a month a few years ago as a res...

We have a booking engine for both Wordpress and Joomla, and most of our Wordpress users seem to like Polylang the most. It seems easy enough to setup although I haven't built an entire site using it.

Best of luck.

I wonder if things like this are the cause : https://www.espanabreaks.com/costa-blanca/algorfa/7477 No online booking functionality there, and the link to their website ( https://monosnap.com/file/nVULHa0nSKFL01OHGQPIVecEqH0nM4 ) doesn't go anywhere. It only takes one or two links like that and boom...

Absolutely true, also bloody hard to achieve.e-richard wrote: When offered a series of choices, good design will either be 100% sure that the default is what 90% of users actually want, or better still not have any default, but raise an error if its left blank - thus ensuring that the user makes his OWN choice.

I listened to a podcast, may have been TED, not sure. But page links (Larry Page) were suggested to be of higher rank on quality, but not necessarily reciprocal. Google will also black list you if they suspect you are paying for these, the main criteria was to create good quality shared information...
