There seem to be more properties available this year but we still get to the front page of Airbnb. We even still have feb half term avail...

Ski bookings winter 2018
Hi everyone, We have noticed a significant drop in winter bookings for next ski season (2018). Just wondering if this is the same for everyone or whether we are just personally having a poor season?? The last few years we haven't had great snow in Chamonix, so I wonder whether this is implicated, or...

Thanks for the prompt reply Sanchismo, could I be cheeky and ask whether you have an email address for the office or phone number? Or do you suggest going in person to check things through? (Also do the office speak English? It's very embarrassing but we currently are only learning Spanish, work in ...

Malaga province - question on registering holiday rental
Hola LMHatters, We have just finished renovating a holiday let in Estepona. Our lawyer filled in the application for registering for a holiday let (ATN number). He has been given a temporary registration number but he called the Junta and apparently there is a backlog of >10k applications cations so...

We leave tea, coffee, uht milk, biscuits, crackers, chocolate, washing powder, soap and half a bottle of red wine. Hopefully this allows guests a cuppa (wine or tea!) on arrival and at least something to snack on if they arrive late alongside a handwritten welcome card. We would really like to offer...

We are in the Alps so also have a small second bedroom. We have an adult grade triple sleeper with a 4ft double on the bottom and full size single on the top. We have found it useful for families with three kids, as two small kids can share the bottom, and another kid on the top bunk. Also perfectly...

Well I can't say that we have been successful as we are going ourselves at Christmas, so can't take credit for an Xmas booking!! Yes, the snow last year at Xmas was terrible.....we have always been at Xmas and never had any problems with snow in the past, so here's hoping it was just a blip. Those b...

Calendar synching on HA and OD
Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem, or knows how to fix it. Sorry if there has already been a thread on this but I couldn't see one. OD and HA thankfully recently started to allow the Calendar to be linked with our main google calendar, so we didn't need to log in to each site a...

Just a personal opinion but if I wanted the place cleaning/new bedding etc then I would stay in a hotel. Provided there is a washer/dryer and cleaning materials I would think that most people staying in a non-luxury let would do this themselves. We don't offer this service, but would if a guest aske...

Thanks kevsboredagain I thought that might be the case, I've certainly never been on holiday that pre-Xmas week and suppose therefore that most others won't either. I've just had a look at our pricing and its perhaps a little over optimistic in view of this, and might drop it and see if we get anyon...

December bookings in a ski resort
Hi everyone, We have a place in Chamonix in the French Alps. Thankfully this year there appears to be some snow (!) and the ski lifts are starting to open around our resort. We are pretty booked up Jan - March but have no bookings before Christmas week. I'm just wondering whether we should expect to...
