The property looks nice but I don't think the wide-angle photos with the wonky walls do it any favours. I would also put a bit of a border around the text in the white box to make it a bit easier to read.

Good luck!

I do wonder if places that are booked up way ahead of time perhaps have their prices too low? We had a good year for bookings but were not generally booked too far ahead of time.

We mostly just have weekend bookings which 99% want Friday. I think if we were in a weekly bookings situation I would prefer Friday so if it was not a massive hit on bookings then I would go for that.

I currently use PayPal so am keen to switch to wave for lower fees. I run two businesses, the holiday let and something else and would like to use wave for both. Do you know if there is a restriction that the same bank account can not be used for two different businesses? There is such a restriction...

Coursera also do lots of free courses on loads of subjects from various international universities, again I think you can pay for certification.

For those interested they do quite a lot of web design stuff

Don't think that adds anything to your argument... unless you are 12.

Did you need permission for your property greenbarn? Brighton & Hove City Council website states: "If a property owner wishes to let their property out as a holiday let, there are no planning restrictions to stop them doing so. This means that potentially the owner could convert their prope...

I'm not in London but may be interesting to some. It also looks like a law change to remove this requiremen...

One month booking!

I have had an enquiry for the whole month of May. Apart from the cleaning considerations do I need to take anything else into account. I'm not sure what the maximum is for HMRC either?

The only question in their enquiry was to ask what the discount would be lol.

Do you count website as they found you via your website or they booked via website?

I get a lot of direct bookings but I suspect that most if not all find me on a rental site first.

Thanks for the link Nemo.

I have tried a quick google to find EBAY rules on listing holiday lets by no joy yet.

I'm guessing the following rules: no links to my website, the buy it now has to be for the full amount.

I will have a go at setting one up!

I did search "EBAY" but got 785 hits so gave up... will try again though.

I do use PayPal already so no problems there, and figured I could just reverse the transaction if necessary but not sure what EBAY rules are.
