Not great, I'm afraid - I think Colin might be trying to weasel a free holiday.
Complained about the size of the entrance (fully described in our Access Statement, of course) as he couldn't get his food supply in:
and finished with a rather unpleasant remark:

Sorry about the TC (naturally I blame Windy) !
The stoat's favourite haunt is a dry stone wall just outside our back door, and the first shot was grabbed through a mucky window. (Colin did eventually manage to get the fat ball in through the hole, but only after it had broken up under his efforts. It was hilarious to watch, which might account for the camera shake....) The second shot was taken after I'd opened the back door and stood back a little way, hence much better; the foil contained the remains of a chocolate pud which he kept coming back for.
salmoncottage - nice thought, but probably too generous a comment from Colin, who is fundamentally grumpy.
To discourage further TC, I'd better trot out the old standard "How do you tell a stoat from a weasel - one's weaselly recognised and the other's stoatally different." (Nature Notes - a stoat is slightly bigger, has a longer tail in proportion, and the tip of the tail is always black.)
Sorry again for the TC (especially to Cotterdale) - please can somebody get us back on topic?
