Anyone use anything other than Google and why?

just to say .... I have a photo rich site, google finds 700+ images.

I've followed google images, and it is different to the normal google :

Updates are very rare
It is more of a guessing game for the robot (it uses file name, alt text, and nearby text as far as I can see)
Sometimes the robot gets it completely wrong
SEO is more difficult

Many of my strange, but big hitting keywords track back to google images.

I've signed up for google enhanced image search, but don't really know how it works.
