We have far more visitors finding our 'Events Calendar' page than any other. At first I thought it could be people meaning to check availability, so I've moved it off the main menu - no difference. Without Google showing keyword searches, I'm wondering why...
Can anyone shed any light?
Could it be the pictures?

I had a similar effect on a previous website where many more people found the site by landing on our "List of restaurants". Thats presumably what they were searching for.
The advice I was given by a Marketing Guru was as follows:
Don't knock it, don;t worry about it, but embrace it. Make sure that you have a fairly prominent "Advertisement" (not just a menu point) for your accommodation on that page and simply wallow in the attention.
