Hi,
Not meaning to be cheeky and not sure if this is allowed but could anyone possibly let me have a peek at their health and safety risk assessment and fire risk assessment, I’ve got templates for both ready to fill in but I’m struggling a bit with what to put on them and can’t find any good examples online of ones for self catering holiday properties. I’ve walked round the house 3 times and still only got minimal things listed on each, I think if I could see completed ones it would help me to see the kind of things I should be listing and how to word it etc. In return I have a good, easy to use portable electrical appliance inspection log if anyone does this themselves as an alternative to PAT testing and would like a good template to use.
Thanks

Fire certificate
At what level do I need a fire certificate? Does anyone know.
I have a cottage, 2 static caravans and 2 glamping pods.
Thanks

Re: Fire certificate
Unless it’s different in Wales, Fire Certificates are no longer issued and haven’t been for some years.crocko wrote:At what level do I need a fire certificate? Does anyone know.

The responsibility is with the owner to have a full Fire Risk Assessment in place and keep it up to date.
The responsibility applies to any guest accommodation.
See this government publication which is essential for every rental owner or accommodation provider:

Many Thanks
Nice to get it concise, people and web searches still keep mentioning "Fire Certification" Not a nice clear statement, so I was wondering if there were two tiers that apply to larger business.
Nice to know I have things in place.
Thanks again.
