Pauline,
I'm not sure what to suggest, apart from there must be a typing error! I know it works (for me at least) because when I type it here it shows as a link - which is why I can't type it in full...
- copy/paste the entry shown, including the [ ] at the start and end, into your signature, then delete the space immediately after the www.
perhaps someone else has a bright idea?
Cost of a domain
url
Marcus
Pasted it, deleted the space................and I'm just getting the normal domain name as you will see.
Somebody in cyberland doesn't like me!
Thanks for trying!

Pauline,
As far as I can see, you only have the actual URL in your signature, not the coding which tells the forum to link to the url using different words on the page.
Try copy-pasting the entire next line into your signature and see what happens:
That should work...

Brooke and Marcus, yes, whoopee, it's working!
But I HAD pasted it in before, but what had happened was that I was getting a notice saying that my sig was too long, and I hadn't noticed it. I've deleted the rest of the sig and now it works.
You all know who I am by now, anyway.
Regards and thanks,
Pauline
