I know some people on LMH use Firestick to access UK TV and catch-up services, so I hope somebody can shed some light on my problem.
I've just bought a Firestick so I can access catch-up programmes like iPlayer. I've installed Express VPN, which works well on my pc and tablet, but for some reason BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub don't work on the Firestick, while All4 is fine.
They all work on my pc, but not on the Firestick. Any ideas?

Maybe the VPN is blocked.

Hi CSE, the VPN is certainly blocked by BBC and ITV (although not by Ch 4)

Interestingly though, it's blocked on the Firestick and on my iPad, but not on my PC, using the same VPN.

That is strange.
Maybe it is how the VPN works on one bit of tech to another.
The article I linked too does say sometimes the original IP is "leaked" to the website you are viewing.
I personally I have not watched UK TV via a VPN for many years. When I did I did find channel 4 was not so fussy about VPNs
Is there not a forum for the VPN service where you could ask?
Sorry to say I have no other suggestions.

Leakage is certainly the number one suspect. Latest enigma is that I can now watch “live” ITV, but not historic programmes! Curiouser and curiouser, thought Alice.
