HelI'm wondering if there are any speciall EU regulations for running a B&B??? I did take the Hygiene/food handling course this week via the internet. But I'm wondering if the rules/regulations are for all of Europe or specific to Portugal...And what i might do in advance. i posted this question in the portugal section but noone responded.

Sorry cant help as i am sure the rules you need will be specific to Portugal.

Here in France they can change from region to region or even person to person :lol:

Same here in Spain - rules vary from region to region.

Yep we have differnt rules here in Galicia, Spain to that where Brenda is. We have some of the strictest rules and regulations in Spain. Right down to room size and rooms temps. It is good as the customer know s what they are getting (usually) :shock:

So you should look at the rules for the area of Portugal you are thinking of settling in.

I hope your hygiene course is recognised in Portugal.
Never try to out-stubborn your guests.
