Last minute skiing in Tignes opp...

Post by Gite Guru »

Grrr... just had a drop out for new years week 2009 for my place in Tignes... hate to see it go empty (especially given that it usually rents for £2500 for that week, full details at http://www.rent-apartment-tignes.com/) so....

best offers on PM either for a really good swapsie (summer 2010), or if anyone wants to make a cash offer, happy to accept either.

it's free from 26th December to 2nd January so if you're interested in a magical new year, get in touch!

Probably most of interest to those in France given the last minute nature of the offer!

Just spotted this clause on a hotel website for a New Year's Eve break - might be useful for next year?

Naturally due to the high profile of this event we are obliged to charge all guests for the full price of the package in the event of a cancellation unless we are able to re-let the room to other guests.

Bookings are not secured without a 50% deposit.

We ask for your understanding for the implementation of this policy.

This is the link - http://www.rent-apartment-tignes.com/

A stray bracket had attached itself to the original link.

Hope you can find a good solution, GG - it looks gorgeous.

the benefits of blogging... posted about the late availability for Tignes and optimised the post for New Year, and hey presto, someone found the post, got in touch and has just confirmed the booking.

bingo!

(and even nicer, they'd been double booked by a travel agent so we ended up helping each other out!)
