Floor plans
Floor plans
I'm just updating my website - one of my guests said it would be useful to have a floor plan on line as it's difficult to get the scale of my cottages just from the photos.
Does anyone else do this? if so, can I have a sneaky peek at your website to see how it looks.
Thanks

I have two at
http://www.windermerecabin.co.uk/kingfi ... orplan.htm
and http://www.windermerecabin.co.uk/otter_ ... orplan.htm
They took about a morning between them using floorplanner.com including the hot spots on the Windermere one. The Otter Lodge hotspots are "coming soon"
EDIT both now done

I have one with pics

and one with 360 views

They are really useful for clients who want to have a good look to see if the space is suitable, especially for families.
They're from Floorplanner with a few things put in afterwards, like the rug. Then I made the page up with Lightbox for the pics - you do need to know a bit of HTML to do this though.
This reminds me that I have one for the garden too, must get that up.

You could check mine out here. It's brand new and developed by a LayMyHatter. Just ironing out some glitches but it has already received some great feedback. I have a couple more photos to add but am very pleased so far.
I use this site to test out new stuff so I can try before I review anything on my blog.

Martha - thanks for sharing your plan - It spurred me on to "lightboxing" my own two maps (which is a much better way of showing the linked pictures).
You might be interested in this link

which explains a small tweak to Lightbox that makes it work with image maps and gets you away from having to create table cells to store the links.

I've put together the Windy 10 steps to an image mapped floor plan here.
