don't know about availability in Italy (but I'll keep an eye out next time I'm over) but, here in the US, we have solar lighting for the garden - it's great! The lights charge up during the day and automatically turn on at night...and they use zero electricity :-)

I think more people are going over to all inclusive but when we started out it was not the norm a few years ago. We started out all inclusive and will remain so.

Musetta, sadly our local lighting & electrical shop says that they haven't found solar lighting of any quality which frustrates me because there must be some good ones and would find them very useful.

Don Ciccio, I will look into that type of lighting, it sounds useful
