Compress Photos to Upload to various sites

To compress photos I currently send the file using my compress feature that I am prompted to use when sending
So I
- Email each photo to myself
- Then have to check my email
- Open and save/rename the file

I do this because when I use the MS feature (right click) it compresses the file but I think when I open it to send re-creates the larger file size?????

When I compress the files they still are too large for a quick upload to sites like Craigslist

I am sure there is an easier way to accomplish this but never seem to be able to
