Hello, couple of newbie questions please...

Just another thought- are there any magazines out there for those of us who own a holiday property, or those of us who are just starting out?

I know it's probably a bit of a specialised subject, but I want to get as much info from as many sources as possible before wading in!

I don't know about magazines but there are a few good books.

Starting & Running a Holiday Cottage Business - Gillean Sangster

Investing in a Second Home - Wendy Pascoe

How to Buy and Let a Holiday Cottage - Alison Lee

You can always borrow from your local library if you don't want to buy. I got a cheap copy of one of them from Green Metropolis books.

It's good bedtime reading!

Ok, thanks for that, but I was thinking of magazines as they're more likely to be up to date with the latest property renting news and whats happening generally....

You could subscribe to Heather Bayer's site http://rentingforprofit.com/

Although she's not in the UK there's loads of useful information on her site, relevant to both UK and worldwide holiday home owners.

I'd also second Nemo's suggestion of the Gillean Sangster book.
