Period after which debt cannot be legally demanded.

How long before a Spanish debt can be legally demanded. A debt which is not notarised or in favour of the Hacienda ??? In UK it is six years under statutory limitations.

It can be up to 15 years in some cases (credit cards and bank debts) but normally 5 years.

Thanks. my question related to "Gastos de communidad" or service charges.

The administrator cannot provide me with the records or the statement of my account. I am aware that the enteries debited to my account were incorrect and as such balance was incorrect.

I had asked the current administrator to provide me with the break down/details which he cannot.

The administrator was sacked due to incompetance.
