Post by aillis »

Hi

Does anyone know where I can get Lacron spares for swimming pool filtration system other than using a friend in England to get them . Our l0cal swimming pool agent can get them at ridiculous prices

Hi Aillis,
don't know if these are of any use, the prices seem a lot cheaper than my swimming pool dealers boutique!

O Rings and Lacron

Post by Calvados »

Best bet for O rings is to find a good general rubber , engineers merchants or seal and bearing company.

Identify the diameter of the O ring and buy a length of dowel.
Usually sold off the roll by the metre.

A good stockist will sell various types - obviously needs to be chlorine / bromine resistant.

Measure the diameter you need to make, cut to length with very sharp Stanley type knife and join together with super glue.

If you are still in trouble with filter spares, send me the name, model and size and I will try to locate parts in UK, though they will not be cheap and then you will need to consider carriage charges.

Go out and buy a copy of Piscine Magazine - lots of ads for all of France in there.

Regards
